In chapter 3 i learned about the coastal and the palteau Indians. These Indians have a lot in common they both have a chief but what is different is how you get to be a chief. They also both have canoes and totem poles. This chapter about Indians was very interesting and i would like to do it again sometime.

Arabian enviroment

Recently i just got back from traveling in the Arabian Penninsula i learned lots of things about the enviroment , including plateaus, mountains, deserts, and cool coastalplains and oasises. I also learned about how cool the people are in this place. Here are some tips about how to survive in this enviroment

Tip 1: make sure to have lots of water

Tip 2: If you are in need of water you can go next an desert and underground there is water from the oasis

Tip 3: If you go up by the mountains, you would want to go at the right time because it can get up to 20 inches on rain per day

Tip 4: If you go up by the desert it xan be really hott so i would bring like a blanket or something that would protect your body from getting sunburned.

Tip 5:  If you go up by the coastal plain the air is very moist and it rains  alot so i would bring something that protects you from not getting wet

Tip 6: Also while you are in Arabia i would go and  get lots of water from the oasis because that way you can grow crops and and have something good to eat

Tip 7:Another thing is that while your uo there i would gte like a camel for transportation because it can get tiring walking everywhere

Tip 8: you would not want to become sedentary (stay in one place) because its good to go aroungd and explore more places.

Tip 9: I its also goood to caravan cause ita easyier to explorw new things in a group with people

Tip 10: Follow all of these types and you will survive in the Arabian Penninsula

I can conclude that i had a great time exploring this new enviroment and i would love to come back and do tit again next year. You should try it.

Dear, Mom and Dad,

This trimester I have learned lots of things, i will start out with telling you about how i am doing in Social Studies. So far in S.S(social studies) we have been learning about the middle ages. We have studied monarchs, merchants, nuns, the fall of rome and also the knights and nobles. We also in the beginning of the year had to finish a map that was the first project that we had, I got a pretty good score on it. In science we have been learning about the various groups of rocks sedmimentary, igneouse, and metamorphic. We recently just had a big final exam in science about what we learned over the whole trimester wich is rocks and other vocabulary words that we wrot e down in our notes. In Language arts I learned how to make excellent paragraphs with the new yellows and reds that I have learned, it really helped. In math we have learned lots of things such as, histgrams, box and whisker plot, GCF, LCM, scatter plots correlations and all these words we learned would be on our vocab tests that we have every other week. What I think that I could of done better this trimester is getting my work done early and not waiting till the last minute but besides that I have had a good first trimester.
